AMIRAN®

Amiran® is an optical interference anti-reflective glass, dip-coated on both sides, with a residual reflection of approximately 1%. Regular uncoated glass transmits about 91% of the light through it; with about 8% of the light reflecting back (the rest is absorbed). Coating the outer surfaces of the glass can reduce the amount of light reflected from 8% to 1 or 2% creating two noticeable improvements. One is that it creates far less glare or reflection for optimal presentation ease and the second is that light actually goes through the glass creating a better and brighter light source.
