Dynasil: LOHQ Low OH Infrared Graded, Optical Fused Quartz

Infrared fused silica windows with low "OH" content are great for applications requiring IR transmission around 3600nm. This material has < 5 (ppm) OH content. Fused Silica windows are preferred over other glasses because of its transparency to ultraviolet radiation. Other advantages include a higher abrasion resistance and a low coefficient of thermal expansion, making them very resistant to thermal shock.
