CORNING® 7052 KOVAR SEALING

Corning® borosilicate glass 7052 was widely used as a Kovar Sealing glass. This glass has been discontinued and out of melt since 1991. This borosilicate glass was replaced with Corning® 7056 Kovar Sealing glass which then had been discontinued and replaced by Corning® 7720 Nonex Tungsten Sealing glass which also has been discontinued and now replaced by Schott® 8250 Kovar Sealing glass.
